Money is tight and we’re not raising puppies to get rich. We wish we could give them away to good homes. Lower to average income families usually provide the best care for our animals, so we try to keep our prices low. It’s very expensive to pamper our dogs and your puppy like we do. The price of one happy, healthy puppy is quite reasonable, considering the amount of time, money, research and effort involved with breeding responsibly.

Little Secret About AKC
AKC is great! It was the first American dog registry founded and a prerequisite for entering most any form of professional dog competition, but don’t pay too much extra for AKC. Some folks get tricked into thinking AKC means better quality, and willingly pay more based on that fact alone. Others just like to proudly say, “Yep, she’s an AKC purebred”.
Many professional pet producers and experienced pet owners support smaller registries too. We sometimes use APRI just for the convenience, price and assurance of using a trusted Christian based company. The AKC is the original registry so nearly all purebred dogs registered in America are AKC transferable. If you want your bragging papers or wish to compete professionally, just call or go online and have the AKC research your dog’s ancestry. Transfers are easy, but not free. MODOG’s current registries include AKC, APRI, UAB and the ACA.
